How do you leave an OnlyFans agency?

Read your contract's termination clause, give notice exactly as it requires and in writing, change your password the day the agreement ends, and revoke every delegated access. If there is no written contract, you can usually leave immediately. The messy cases are held logins and unpaid balances — both are covered below.

Step one: read the exit before you announce it

Before you say a word to anyone at the agency, read your contract's termination clause. You're looking for three things: the notice period, the required form of notice (email? registered letter?), and anything that survives termination — content licenses, revenue claims, non-competes. Your plan is built around those three facts, not around how the conversation feels.

If there's no written contract at all, in most places an open-ended services arrangement can be ended with reasonable notice — often immediately. That's the one silver lining of an agency too sloppy to paper the relationship.

Step two: secure access quietly, before notice

The order matters. Control first, notice second.

  • Confirm you can log in yourself, today, on your own device
  • Confirm the verified email and phone number on the account are yours
  • Check where payouts land, and that the bank account is yours alone
  • Screenshot your subscriber count, pending balance, and recent statements

If any of those fail — you can't log in, the recovery email is theirs, payouts route somewhere you don't control — fix that before announcing anything, using the platform's own account recovery. OnlyFans verifies a human being, not a company; support sides with the person on the ID. An agency that has locked you out has already told you what kind of exit this will be, and you owe them no warning while you take back what's yours.

Step three: give notice like a business, not a breakup

Written, dated, matching the contract's required form, stating the end date plainly. No essay, no grievances — every sentence you add is something to argue about. If things are friendly, a call is fine, but the call is a courtesy; the email is the notice.

Then work the notice period professionally. You're not paying for enthusiasm in the last 30 days; you're paying for an orderly handover: content files, chat context, whatever the contract says is yours.

Step four: day one after — rotate everything

The day the contract ends:

  • Change the password
  • End all active sessions
  • Revoke every delegated access and remove team members from any shared tooling
  • Re-check the payout details and recovery email one more time
  • Change passwords on anything else the agency touched — Instagram, scheduling tools, cloud storage

This isn't hostility; it's hygiene. A clean agency expects it. Ours assumes it — access you can revoke in one click is the standard we describe in how we work, and it's what makes exits boring.

The money questions

You owe what the contract says, calculated on revenue earned during the term — typically including the notice period. Two claims deserve pushback: exit fees that appear nowhere in writing, and a share of revenue earned after the end date. Fans you keep are not the agency's pension. If the amounts are meaningful, one hour with a lawyer beats a month of arguing in DMs.

And before you sign the next one

Don't — not for a month. Run the account solo, let the dust settle, and read when you don't need an agency with your fresh numbers in hand. You'll either discover you don't need a replacement, or you'll walk into the next conversation knowing exactly what you're buying. Both are better than swapping one bad contract for a familiar-feeling new one.

FAQ

Questions creators actually ask

Can an agency stop me from leaving OnlyFans management?

A contract can bind you to a notice period and, in bad cases, to penalties — but it cannot make the account theirs. If your contract has no term or no termination clause at all, most jurisdictions let you end an open-ended services agreement with reasonable notice. When real money is at stake, spend one hour with a lawyer before you act.

What if the agency holds my login?

Use the platform's own account recovery with your verified email or phone before you announce anything — quietly regaining control first changes the entire negotiation. If recovery fails because they changed your details, contact OnlyFans support with your verification documents: the platform sides with the verified person.

Do I owe the agency money after I leave?

Only what the contract actually says — usually their share of revenue earned during the term, sometimes through the notice period. Be suspicious of 'exit fees' that appear nowhere in writing, and of percentage claims on revenue earned after the relationship ends.
